Most contractors deliver Level 3 or Level 4 drywall finishes. The difference is visible under raking light — the angled sunlight that reveals every imperfection in a wall surface. Level 5 finishes include a full skim coat over the entire surface, creating a uniform texture that looks flawless under any lighting condition. For premium interiors, there is simply no substitute.

Load-bearing wall removal is one of the most requested renovations in older Niagara homes. JVR Complete works with licensed structural engineers to design proper beam installations (LVL, steel, or glulam) that safely redistribute loads while opening up floor plans. The process includes temporary shoring, beam sizing calculations, proper bearing points, and finishing details that make the structural element blend seamlessly into the room.

Soundproofing is increasingly important as homeowners create home offices, media rooms, and secondary suites. JVR Complete builds soundproofing assemblies using combinations of staggered-stud or double-stud walls, resilient channel, multiple layers of drywall (including 5/8" Type X where required for fire separation), and acoustic insulation (mineral wool or fibreglass batts).
